Hi Families!

What a busy week we had in Kindergarten! Thank you to our volunteers who came with us on our Community Walk on Tuesday. We appreciate your support and help!

Here is what we have been doing in Kindergarten this week:

From our walk this week, we learned or saw:

AM:

MC - we saw a zombie hand in the bushes of one house on our walk.
CH - We saw a playground sign. It means slow down.
CG - We saw a stop sign. That means STOP!
SS - We saw a spooky house.
BL - We saw a fire hydrant. It is something for putting out fires and plugging in hoses. I learned that helping makes a difference.
NK - The fire hydrant is green.
AF - We saw a crosswalk, where people can cross and be safe.
RS - there was a medical thing (defibrillator) that helps your heart.
CDG - We saw a speed limit sign. It tell drivers what speed they can go. In a playground zone they go slow - 30!
BB - Crosswalk! It is where people walk to be safe.
BH - We also saw a fire extinguisher. It puts out fires.
JK - We saw a drainer (storm drain). It drains the water from the sky.

PM:

  • SJ - I saw a stop sign, a playground zone sign and a bus stop.
  • DD - I saw a fire hydrant and a stop light and a hand that tells us when to cross. A mailbox and a light post.
  • CL - I saw a stop sign, it means to stop. A light post, it lights up at night.
  • AG - I saw a stop sign and a mailbox and a fire hydrant and a crosswalk. I learned that no running because you might lose our group.
  • EJ - I learned not to run because you might break your bones and it is not safe.
  • Blake - I saw a bus stop, a crosswalk and a stop sign and a storm drain. And I saw a speed limit sign. It tells you how fast you are supposed to go.
  • FG - I saw a storm drainer, a crosswalk, a speedy limit, no running sign and a stop sign.
  • LC - I saw a stop sign, a crosswalk, a storm drain and a light post. When the water comes down, it will go right into the storm drain.
  • KB - I saw a crosswalk, a stop sign and no running because you might lose your group.
