Hi families,

We have had another action packed week in Kindergarten!
Literacy
This week we learned about the letters P, Q, R & S.  Each day students shared items brought from home that match the letter of the day. Students learned the sounds of the letters and practiced printing the letter (upper and lowercase). We will not be covering the follow letters next week. We will resume our alphabet inquiry the first week back in January.

• Food donations will be collected at each Christmas concert.

• Morning Concert: Wednesday, December 19th at 9:00am - PM kinders are asked to arrive for 8:45am and go to their classroom. 

• Evening Concert: Wednesday, December 19th at 6:30pm - children are asked to arrive for 6:15pm and go to their classroom. 

• Children are asked to dress up for both of these performances. 

Please ensure your child has full winter gear as we are outside almost every day, especially right now as we do not have access to the gym due to concert rehearsals.

Merry Fitness

This week we participated in Merry Fitness! Each day we popped a balloon that had a fitness  challenge inside. This week we completed:  Kinders also went snowshoeing this week. Thank you so much to our volunteers who helped put on/take off snowshoes! We have one more day of snowshoeing - Monday, December 17th.
