Social Studies (Community Helpers)
Kinders loved learning about fire safety! We played Is It Hot Or Cold? We also played Is It A Toy Or A Tool? Mr. Hagen read us a story and showed us his safety gear. Thank you for the fire hats and coloring books!

Quest Theatre
This week Quest Theatre came to Andrew Sibbald School! This was an innovative theatrical adventure in which Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal artists explored the shared history of our ancestors. It was an immersive, interactive experience that will continue to inspire compassion and understanding, inviting people of all ages and backgrounds to consider an enlightened, sustainable future for everyone - together.

Math
We continue to learn about 3D shapes. This week we went on a shape scavenger hunt and built 3D shapes. Ask your child where they see the following shapes in their environment: pyramid, sphere, cube and cylinder.
