Hi Families,
We have had another exciting week in kindergarten!
This week the PM kinder classes had a fire drill practice. They did a great job staying with the group and following instructions.
Students enjoyed the fun snack this week (popcorn).
If you haven't already done so please ensure you sign up for conferences. I look forward to meeting with everyone next week.
Literacy
Our journey exploring the alphabet has begun. This week we learned about the letters A, B, C and D. Each day students shared items brought from home that match the letter of the day. Students learned the sounds of the letters and practiced printing the letter (upper and lowercase). We ask that your child bring a matching item for the letter of the day. A new letter will not be covered on Fridays and the letters will go in order.
