We have had another fun filled week in kindergarten!
Literacy
We continued to explore superheroes in our journals this week. Students drew and labeled their pictures. Students are working on sounding out words and enjoy sharing their work with their peers. We continue to work on letter/sound recognition please practice this at home with your child. This week we read stories about superheroes and reviewed concepts related to listening and honesty. If you have not already done so please send in the superhero letter for your child.
Math
We continue to explore number sense. This week students worked on solving open ended math problems. Example: There are 2 types of cookies (Chocolate & Vanilla) how many cookie combinations can you create using 5 cookies? Ask your child to explain their thinking and show their work.
Robotics
Kinders have truly enjoyed their time learning about Ozobots! AM kinders worked on testing their design maps and sharing their work with their peers.
