We have had another fabulous week in kindergarten!
Literacy
This week we have been working towards increased independence while writing. Students have been applying the criteria below to ensure they have completed the task.
-Drawing a picture with increased detail
-Labeling with initial/ending letter sounds or printing sentences related to the picture
-Re-reading work
-Some students are working on neatness, appropriate letter case usage and punctuation
Students are working together to give feedback and provide suggestions for growth.
Outdoor Play
Kinders love playing in the sunshine! We will go outside daily. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather (eg: hat, sunglasses, water bottle). We ask that you apply sunscreen and bug spray at home prior to coming to school.
SOGO Volunteers
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered for SOGO in June! We are still requiring one more volunteer for the afternoon class. Please let me know if you would be interested.
